Moulinex Radio Ad

ANNOUNCER: Harry and Estelle for Moulinex.
HARRY: Estelle, what's going on here? Who are these people? What's all this equipment?
ESTELLE: They're from N.A.S.A., Harry. I'm launching the Moulinex.
HARRY: You're what? The Moulinex makes meals.

Biography

Kathleen Vyn is the author of The Prairie Community and Spring in the High Sierras published by Julian Messner, a division of Simon & Schuster. She was a co-contributor to Baby Names for the New Century published by Harper-Collins. She received her M.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.

Her articles have appeared in Omni, American Health, American Fitness, Healthfile, Your Health and Fitness, Woman's Life, Ranger Rick, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, the San Francisco Examiner, Silver Kris, Crain's Chicago Business, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, SAE Off-Highway Engineering, Marketing News, Sales and Marketing News & Strategies, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Illinois Meetings & Events Magazine, Office Solutions, CBSHealthwatch.com, Collectors Universe, Growing Edge, Silver Kris, Multi-Family Executive.

Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, Fortune 100 companies as well as start-ups. She has worked for advertising and public relations firms.

She has received fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation, the Ossabaw Island Foundation, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Edna St. Vincent Millay Foundation and the Wurlitzer Foundation. She received an Illinois Art Council Finalist Grant in prose(fiction) for 2006.

She has appeared on Fox television promoting her books and articles. She has spoken to students in Illinois and California.

She has taught writing at Columbia College, Oakton Community College, Wright Junior College, and East-West University. She also worked with the Poetry in the Schools program at San Francisco State University.
She has been a reader for the Alumni Workshop of the American Film Institute.
