Law and Order does Masters of Doom


I've received emails asking me about an episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent called "FPS" a.k.a. First Person Shooter. Yes, it's clearly "inspired" by Masters of Doom (though I had nothing do with the show), and has many insider references to dialogue/details in the book.

Bill Gates Doom Video Unearthed!


The long lost 1995 Bill Gates promotional video for Doom, described in the "Judgment Day" chapter of my book, Masters of Doom, has been found! There's Microsoft's CEO in a trenchcoat w/shotgun, blowing the gibs from an unsuspecting fanboy. It must be seen to be believed.

Thanks to Mike Lombardo for digging it up. Mike read the story in my book, and went sleuthing. The story of his detective work, and the video, are available via the link below.
