The Tucson Festival of Books only gets better with every year!

Had two more great school visits recently: Fourth graders and ELD students at Holaway ES in Tucson, and pre-K through third grade at Our Lady of Guadalupe Academy, in Queen Creek

Had a wonderful full day school visit in Tucson at
AGUA CALIENTE
January 9th!
Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun.

Go back in time,
in pictures and rhyme,
to February 14, 1912 -
the day Arizona
became a state.

FREE TEACHING GUIDES!

Please look around. Find out something more about a book you know, or discover a new one. Download a free teaching guide, or check out some pictures of my studio or my grandchildren.

I've been doing children's books just about all my life. I illustrated my first story when I was five, earning 25 cents for that job (from my mother). I've been at it ever since!

As illustrator, author, or translator, I've worked on more than 100 books for children, published in the U.S. and Sweden. You can see some of them below.
