School and Library VisitsI love coming to schools and other venues to talk about books and writing! I'm available to speak with children of all ages, teens, and/or adults about the writing process. Because I write for a wide range of readers, I have books that appeal to both younger and older students. Please feel free to contact me for book suggestions for each grade.
My presentations include:
My fee for school visits is $1200/day (plus expenses). That includes up to three presentations, a book signing, and an informal lunch with selected students or teachers (if desired). I'm happy to visit more than one school on a trip, if you would like to partner with a nearby school to share travel costs. Fees for public libraries and professional conferences vary; please contact me for more information.

Scheduling an author visit:
If you are interested in having me visit your school or library, please contact me directly for further information on programs, fees, availability, etc. It's best to schedule visits as far in advance as possible.

Ordering books:
If you're going to order copies of my books to sell for autographing sessions, please be sure to allow enough time for the books to arrive! Ordering at least 4–6 weeks ahead of time is a good idea. I'm happy to do book signings on the day of the visit (following each presentation, in between presentations, or at the end of the day) at no additional charge. You can order books through the bookseller or wholesaler of your choice, or directly from the publisher:
