BiographyRosemary King has taught English at the Air Force Academy and is currently a speechwriter for the highest ranking military official in the Defense Department. She is a contributing author to The Legacy of the Mexican and Spanish-American Wars: Legal, Literary, and Historical Perspectives and serves as the Vice President of Washington Independent Writers. King is writing a work of historical fiction about the first Civil War patient admitted to the Old Naval Hospital in Washington, DC, where King currently resides. When she’s not writing, she enjoys hiking with her border collie, Naya, shown here at the Tidal Basin.![]() |
