Radiation "After nearly 60 years in nuclear engineering, I have a continuing interest in its history and policies. Currently I'm involved in trying to reconcile radiation protection policy, which presumes that even the tiniest levels of ionizing radiation pose a hazard, whereas the scientific data show they do not.
"Radiophobia inhibits the beneficial applications of nuclear power and its associated technologies in medicine, industry and commerce, and I am devoting my time to developing an awareness and a resolution of that situation.
