Trudy Garfunkel

An ardent fan of theater and dance for many years, I've done extensive pro bono work for the New York City Ballet, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, and Art Intentions. My work has involved much time backstage and includes educational pre-performance programs, seminars, and contributing to NYCB's Repertory Notes project. For a number of years I've chaired City Ballet's Information Committee, an audience outreach group I helped found.

Since 1983, I've also been a public relations, marketing and editorial consultant, working with authors, artists, publishers, non-profit arts organizations, and business-to-business services. Recent projects have included the 6-volume "International Encyclopedia of Dance" and "Natural Dance, a collection of color photographs by Hal Eastman.
